ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS

Sean Themea, a 2012 Pinkerton Academy graduate and resident of Chester, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Ithaca College. Themea, both an MLK and honors scholar, is studying communications and was elected student senator for the freshman class.

Lillian Leclerc, a resident of Derry, was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society at Salem State University on Friday, Feb. 22.

Evelyn Gaines of Derry was named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven for the fall 2012 semester.

Kevin Ogden of Londonderry, a senior majoring in health and exercise science, was named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester at Messiah College.

Joseph Liskowsky of Derry graduated with a doctorate in physics from Clemson University.

Clarice Melanson of Londonderry was named to the dean’s list at Providence College for the fall 2012 semester.

Aaron Willis of Londonderry was named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Champlain College.

Joanna French of Derry was named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Champlain College.

Katelyn Sanderson of Derry was among the students from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne named to the dean’s list for the fall semester, which ended in December.

Erin Sailor, a member of the class of 2013 from Londonderry, has been named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Loyola University in Maryland.

Joanna French, a marketing major from Derry, is currently studying abroad at the Champlain College Campus in Dublin, Ireland. At Champlain’s state-of-the-art Academic Center in Dublin, French and other students have the opportunity to receive international perspective and prepare to be global professionals.

Several Londonderry students have been named to the University of Delaware’s dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester. Those students include: Lauren Brulet, Brielle Evangelista, Alexandra Laurence, Shayla McElroy.
