Pinkerton FBLA students earn many honors

DERRY — Pinkerton Academy’s Future Business Leaders of America group is once again ready to take on a national competition.

After successfully earning 16 first-place honors at the recent state competition, students now set their business sights on the national leadership conference in Nashville this summer.

FBLA is one of Pinkerton’s largest student membership groups with more than 200 members.

State chapter honors included the following: first place for Most Outstanding Chapter, Largest Chapter, IH Petition State Officer Project; second place for Scrapbook.

Individual first-place honors went to Mitch Anzivino and Getachew Silva, American Enterprise Project; Ben Tripodi, Business Math; Nicole Locore and Jess Cote, Community Service Project; Nate Brocenschi, Economics; Kylie Lowell and Maggie Mulrennan, Business Emerging Issues; Devon McMahon and Courtney Newcomb, Entrepreneurship; Mitch Anzivino and Getachew Silva, Management Decision Making; Hailey Simpson and Jordyn Coppola, Hospitality Management; Kelly Fitzsimmons, Impromptu Speaking; Kyle Cantalupo, Introduction to Business Communication; Alexis Reishus and Christina Cozzens, Public Speaking; Ally DeCloux, Kelly Fitzsimmons and Amanda Joncas, Partnership With Business Day; and Jess Cote and Nicole Locore, Website Design.

Second-place honors went to Ben Trickett, Client Service; Jonny Chen, Computer Problem Solving; Jake Newman, Jericho Howell and Nicole Hillard, Marketing; Jared Bach, Principles and Procedures; Ariana Moran, Healthcare Administration; Patrick DeCloux, Introduction to Business Communication; Ross Fruhbeis, Personal Finance; Patrick Linehan, Public Speaking; and Madison Gonya, Introduction to Business.

Third-place honors went to Amanda Joncas, Business Procedures; Julia DeCloux and Kayke Alves, Introduction to Business, Sarah Kane for Client Service; and Kayke Alves for Introduction to Business Communication.
