---- — Pinkerton Players perform ‘Yankees’

DERRY — Pinkerton Players present the musical “Damn Yankees” on stage at the Stockbridge Theatre March 27-29 at 7 p.m., and March 30 at 2 p.m. Tickets are now available through the theater box office or by calling 437-5210.

Pinkerton takes bowling crown

DERRY — PInkerton Academy has won the state’s high school bowling crown.

Student bowlers won the championship at Spare Time Bowling Alley in Manchester, defeating Spaulding to win the 2013-2014 NHIAA bowling team championship.

Team members in the winning team are Alexandria Albano, Austin Caux, Jordan Caux, Natalie Fabrizio, Michael Komisarek, Whitney Leyland, David Pierson and Raina Stobbs.

Pinkerton graduate named to state board

DERRY — Ashley Miller, a 2010 Pinkerton Academy graduate, has been named to the N.H. Psychological Association Board of Directors as its student liaison.

Miller is currently a senior at Colby-Sawyer College, majoring in psychology with a minor in child development.

As a voting member of the board, Miller’s job will be to facilitate communication with the N.H. Psychological Association Student Organization, NHPASO. This group’s mission is to make the field of psychology students and their involvement in all levels of their education and to encourage and represent a diverse membership.

NHPASO welcomes any high school, college, or college graduate to its membership. Anyone interested must be interested in the study, development and/or promotion of psychology. Information is available at nhpaonline.org.

Pet Palace up and running

DERRY — Pinkerton Academy animal science students are happy to help Fido and Fluffy get haircuts and baths.

Students offer the Pinkerton Pet Palace services for school staff and anyone else wanting to support the program and get their pets some tender loving care.

Grooming services including nail trimming, bathing, and various types of shampoos. Pets are typically dropped off at 7 a.m. and then picked up at 2:30 p.m. from the animal science building. Email for information to PAPetPalace@gmail.com.
