After many tough questions and opponents, Pinkerton Academy’s Granite State Challenge team finally fell to a team from Manchester Central High School. The final score was 300-170.
The popular high school quiz show began the season with 16 teams from around the state. Students were challenged to answer questions ranged from movie trivia, to famous first ladies, to geography, math and history.
Longtime host Jim Jeannotte fired questions one after another at the student teams for quick recall answers.
Pinkerton’s team included Emily D’Aquila, Jake Hudgins, Colin Dudgeon, Dylan Mahalingam, and Ben Foley and Hannah Campeanu.
“Granite State Challenge” is seen on NHPTV stations.
All’s quiet at Pinkerton Academy

The day is organized by the Gay/Straight Alliance at Pinkerton and is a national event led by students. The efforts are to bring attention to bullying and other harassment in schools.
The school honors this day every year.
