Montessori school welcomes therapy dog
Courtesy photo. Third-grader William Hogan, 8, reads with Guardian, a therapy dog at Southern New Hampshire Montessori Academy in Londonderry. Guardian, a Portuguese water dog, was chosen for his temperament, his hypoallergenic coat and his looks.
Southern New Hampshire Montessori Academy has become one of the first schools in New England to bring in a therapy dog as a full-time member of its community.
