DERRY — It was one last chance to grab a squash, a few ears of corn or try a slice of pizza.
The Derry Farmers Market ended its summer run Sept. 26 with a community harvest event at its Manning Street location.
Vendors and artisans were out in force to celebrate the seasonal end at the market, offering giveaways and free food in addition to their usual weekly wares.
The market won’t be gone for long; the winter market will kick off in December at its new location in East Derry at the historic Upper Village Hall.
Markets will be held the first and third Saturday of each month beginning in December, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The Upper Village Hall is at 52 East Derry Road. Vist the market at derry-nh.org or call market manager Beverly Ferrante at 434-8974.
