PET OF THE WEEK: Need a Teddy?

It's been a good year so far for some pets waiting for their forever homes through the Greater Derry Humane Society.

Dogs previously featured as Derry News Pets of the Week have found permanent homes with families in the area.

Bear, a fluffy Pekingese, found his new home with a family in Londonderry. Princess, a border terrier/boxer mix, is going to be living in Derry.

There are still many pets waiting for that perfect home, including a list of cats waiting to be adopted.

One fluffy feline, Teddy, hopes someone will adopt him.

Teddy is 3 years old and is a gray-and-white domestic long hair cat. He is very sociable and loves to be around people.

Teddy would make a great companion for a family or individual.

All animals adopted through the Greater Derry Humane Society are up to date on all tests and vaccines, and are spayed/neutered.

To learn more about adopting Teddy, contact the Humane Society at 434-1512, or visit derryhumanesociety.com.
