“Comcast subscribers in Manchester, Concord, Londonderry, Raymond, Amherst, Keene, Swanzey, Marlborough and Andover now have access to this series in its entirety,” Haas said. “Five other PEGstations chose individual shows from the series for their audiences. On YouTube, we have gotten over 250 views, mainly because it has been posted on the Driving Toward Zero website.”

Haas hosted the series which covered seatbelt usage, motorcycle safety, teen drivers, older drivers, crash data, distracted driving and driving under the influence.

She said the department became involved with the statewide program after helping to produce “Somebody Loves You, Somebody Needs You” with the Community Alliance for Teen Safety and students from Great Bay e-Learning Charter School.

“Somebody Loves You, Somebody Needs You” and the “New Hampshire Driving Toward Zero” series are available on Comcast Channel 17 in Derry, by viewing the cable department’s channel on YouTube at 17 and 23 DTV or by going to NHDTZ.com.
