Derry library offers wide variety of programs

---- — DERRY — As the snowflakes fly and the temperatures drop, Derry Public Library offers a wide variety of programs and activities for all ages.

Children can enjoy story hours, even the youngest of book lovers. Many special programs are held in the Children’s Room.

Every day in January, children can enjoy a “Where’s Waldo” event . A sticker is given every time a child spots the famed character around the room.

On Jan. 16, children an enjoy a Play-Doh Afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

Teens have a full schedule of events, including advisory groups, cooking classes and book clubs.

Older readers can also enjoy evening book groups, and technology classes for beginners and more advanced users.

The next Tech Thursday for beginners is Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Special upcoming events next month include a historical program on Robert Frost presented by town historian Richard Holmes and local poet Robert Crawford.
