Community teams up to supportCaregivers ‘angels’

Holy Cross Church, Community Crossroads, First Parish Church and Derry Chiropractic are again partnering with Community Caregivers of Greater Derry and its holiday angel tree. Gifts will be delivered to homebound seniors this season according to Caregivers’ executive director Cindee Tanuma.

The tree/display is at Derry Chiropractic on West Broadway and the gifts are due back by Dec. 16.

Holiday toy, food drives continue

St. Mark’s Lodge 44 Free and Accepted Masons hosts holiday drives to collect toys, food, and clothing. The Masonic Lodge at 58 E. Broadway is an official site for Toys for Tots and new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off to donate to local families by Dec. 21. Food donations will go to support the First Baptist Church Food Pantry and clothing will be donate to the food pantry and also the Marion Gerrish Community Center.
