Let the Knights do the cooking

It's Friday and fish is on the menu.

The Knights of Columbus Council 3023 is serving up fish and chips every Friday night at the St. Thomas Aquinas Center on Crystal Avenue in Derry during Lent.

It's the first year the Knights have hosted the event and it's proving to be a big success.

Last Friday night, the Knights served dinner to 183 adults and 17 children.

There are two more chances to try out the dinner, March 19 and 26. No dinner will be served on Good Friday. Dinner is available from 5 to 7 p.m.

The cost is $7.50 for adults, $3.50 for children. The menu includes fried white fish filet, fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce and a roll. All proceeds go to charity.
