The Greater Derry Arts Council hosts a benefit concert June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Derry Opera House on West Broadway.
The show features local talent from Let’s Play Music, Dance Progressions, Kids Coop Theatre and top performers from the Derry’s Got Talent event from last year.
Tickets are $10, $8 for students and seniors with general admission seating. Proceeds benefit the Arts Council.

Proper flag disposal offered
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1617 invite anyone with worn or tattered flags to bring them to the VFW Post Home at 18 Railroad Ave. to be disposed of in a special upcoming ceremony.
Flags can be dropped off anytime up until June 14.
Farmers market opens for season
The Derry Farmers Market opens for the season on June 19 at the Manning Street parking lot in front of the town municipal center.
This is the fourth year for the market, held every Wednesday 3 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 25. Call market manager Bev Ferrante at 434-8974 for information.
Sign up for Relay for Life
The annual 18-hour American Cancer Society Greater Derry LondonderryRelay for Life event begins June 21 at 6 p.m. at the Pinkerton Academy track.
Sign-in begins at 5 p.m. Teams representing schools, organizations, community groups and churches will take to the track to walk to raise money and awareness for those dealing with cancer.

Frost Farm open for season
The Robert Frost Farm on Route 28 is now open for the season.
The site offers tours of the farm, nature trails and special activities including poetry readings and other literary lectures and events. New Hampshire students 17 and under are admitted free.
