Pinkerton junior Christian Merheb said it was good to get involved.
“It’s important to help the community,” he said. “There are just tons of people who are always giving so much to you.”
Angelica Ladd, The Upper Room events coordinator, said having students help is an annual blessing and teaches a valuable lesson.
“They learn about being a part of the community while providing invaluable manpower to local nonprofits,” she said.
After the work was done, students gathered back at Pinkerton for ice cream and cake, and to talk about their experiences.
