Garden club to meet
The Derry Garden Club meets May 2 at Promises to Keep in Derry for its annual luncheon. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and reservations are required.
The program is “Roses” by Jamie Colen, garden director of Fuller Gardens in North Hampton. The club is also preparing for its annual plant sale May 17 at the Masonic Hall, East Broadway, Derry.

CLM benefit concert set for May 9
Center for Life Management hosts its sixth annual benefit concert featuring tribute band Fleetwood Mix. The show is May 9 at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy. In addition, the night includes a silent auction.
Fleetwood Mix offers a tribute to band Fleetwood Mac, and has toured and performed all over the country. Opening for Fleetwood Mix is Holly Winchell, recognized for her appearance in the viral video “Granite State of Mind.”
The silent auction begins at 6 p.m. with the concert to follow at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30-$35 for adults, $20 for seniors and students. For tickets, visit stockbridgetheatre.com or call 437-5210. Tickets are also available through the theater box office Monday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m.
Library hosts ‘Brothers’
Derry Public Library hosts a presentation “Brothers at War” May 12 at 6:30 p.m. The program is part of the library’s ongoing series of local history programs.
The program is presented by T.J. Cullinane, vice commander of the New Hampshire Department of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. He will offer information on seven sets of Derry brothers that were sent off to fight in the Civil War.
