“An awful lot of people walk their dogs there,” Follo said. “This shows a little good faith and it’s a start.”
Other Go Green plans moving forward include getting a presence at area apartment complexes and sharing information on ways those facilities to get on board with more recycling.
Follo said it’s all about spreading the most information possible on topics that deal with the environment and clean living.
“Our mission is to educate,” Follo said.
The next Go Green meeting is set for Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at the municipal center, Room 207.
