Calling all coneheads

One local veterinarian is poking fun at some unpopular, but often necessary, pet garb.

Handel With Care veterinary clinic on Crystal Avenue sported an exterior sign with the following:

"The fun and games are over when you come home with a cone."

Get in shape for spring

In the true spirit of the season, many people are now getting that old winter wear washed from their cars as spring approaches.

The Royal "T" car wash in Derry joins in the sentiment with its sign.

"It's time to put your car on a salt-free diet."

Help, I need somebody

It might be a call for help or just a mention of someone's overly busy life these days.

A blue Ford Focus was seen driving through Derry with the license plate "UNABLE2."

Stop and smile

A stop sign standing at the corner of Pillsbury Road and Ash Street in Londonderry might be extra happy these days.

Someone took the time to paint the back side of the sign into a bright yellow "smiley" face.

Only the best ...

During the grand opening celebration of Derry's new Ocean State Job Lot store, officials were getting ready to snip the bright red ribbon, but one part of the tape tore away before the final cut.

"We didn't buy this tape at Job Lot," Derry Town Administrator John Anderson quipped.
