DERRY — The Boys and Girls Club offers February and April school vacation programs Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There is a full-size gym for basketball, dodgeball, kickball, flag football and more. There's also a games room with pool tables, ping pong and air hockey, a technology center with computers, and other activities including Yugioh tournaments, Lego building contests, arts and crafts, and karaoke.
During vacation programs, children are separated into groups, Grades 1-3, 4-5, and 6-8.
The cost for vacation programs is $55 for the week, $15 for the day. Early drop-off (7 to 8:30 a.m.) costs an extra $3 a day or $12 for a week.
The club also offers an after-school program for elementary and middle school children. There are recreational activities, homework assistance and structured programs, including Drama Club, Lego Masters, Art Club and much more.
Transportation is available from all Derry Schools for $50 a month or $4 a day.
