Questers present historical program
Amoskeag Mills Questers present “Petticoat Patriot: The Deborah Sampson Story” on March 6 at 11 a.m. at Derry Public Library.
Storyteller/actor Joan Gatturna appears as the young Massachusetts woman who fought as an enlisted soldier in the Continental Army during the American Revolution.
The show has been performed since 1990. Gatturna is on the touring rosters of both the New England Foundation for the Arts and New Hampshire Humanities Council’s “Humanities to Go” program. She is a creative teaching partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Genealogy meeting set for March 5
The monthly meeting of the Genealogy Roundtable will be at Derry Public Library on March 5 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the library’s downstairs meeting room.
Meetings are informal and all are invited to attend to discuss their research regardless of level of experience.
AARP tax help offered
The Nutfield Chapter AARP offers its free tax assistance on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 West Broadway.
Those seeking help should bring last year’s tax returns, any W2 forms, 1099s and other expense/income information. AARP membership is not required to receive help.
