Still time to register to vote in Derry

DERRY — Town election officials say with under a month to go until the general election there is still time to register to vote.

Officials also note there have been some changes in polling locations.

Voters in Districts 1 and 3 will vote at Pinkerton Academy’s Hackler gymnasium.

District 2 voters will head up to East Derry, to Calvary Bible Church. District 4 residents will return to Gilbert H. Hood Middle School.

Residents wishing to register to vote can sign up at the town clerk’s office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voter registration will also be held Oct. 27 from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the municipal center.

Voting hours in Derry are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Nov. 6 election.
