DERRY — The town plans its annual Fourth of July fireworks display on July 4, with a rain date scheduled for July 5.
The annual holiday display is sponsored by Parks and Recreation and begins at dusk, approximately 9 p.m.
Best viewing areas are along Tsienneto Road, near Hood Commons, Folsom Road and along Crystal Avenue.
All municipal buildings will be closed on July 4, as are Taylor and Derry Public libraries.
Some areas of town will be open that day with varying schedules and weather permitting, including Don Ball Park, Gallien’s Beach at Beaver Lake and Hood Park.
