The event is doing well, according to market manager Beverly Ferrante, and she said she is happy the list of vendors continues to grow.

The market's newest vendor is LaBelle Winery of Amherst. The market also includes local produce and organic products from area growers, handcrafted soaps, pottery, flowers and plants, pet supplies and baked goods. The market continues every Wednesday through Oct. 17.

Donate Halloween costumes to The Upper Room

The Upper Room is already thinking of Halloween and ways to help families in need. The Upper Room will again host its "Bootique" and will collect gently used infant through child size Halloween costumes and props to distribute to families in the facility's Teen Information for Parenting Success. These families might otherwise not be able to afford costumes for the spooky holiday.

Beginning on Sept. 1 and running through Oct. 15, costumes can be dropped off at the Upper Room, 36 Tsienneto Road. For information, call 437-8477.
