Derry OKs budget; taxes up 17 cents
The Derry Town Council approved a $45.3 million budget Monday night, 7-0. That means a 17-cent tax increase, up to $9.69.

The Derry transfer station announces its summer schedule. Hours of operation are as follows through the summer:
Monday and Sunday, closed; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (May 16 through Sept. 12). - Plant sale to help American Heart Association
