Derry Masons continue holiday tree sales

DERRY — There’s still time to find a perfect holiday tree.

St. Mark’s Lodge on East Broadway continues its annual tree sale until all trees are sold.

The local Masonic group began the season last month with about 400 trees delivered from tree farms in New Hampshire and Vermont.

The Derry group uses its tree sale proceeds to offer help to several local charities, including the Sonshine Soup Kitchen, Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, the First Baptist Church food pantry and the Derry News Santa Fund.

Earlier this month, Masons donated $200 to each group.

In addition to tree sales, the Rockingham Chapter 3 Eastern Star is selling handmade wreaths to support the community. Wreaths are sold at the Masonic Lodge on East Broadway.

St. Marks Lodge 44 Free and Accepted Masons, 58 East Broadway, Derry, sells trees daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until all are sold.
