Sonshine receives $5,000 grant

For the second year, Alexander Eastman Foundation has awarded a $5,000 to Sonshine Soup Kitchen to assist in its healthy eating choices in-house and its home food program.

The Foundation began its work in 1983 as a result of the dissolution of the Alexander Eastman Hospital. Grants and scholarship assistance helps promote good health initiatives in the Greater Derry area. Visit alexandereastman.org or sonshinesoupkitchen.org for information.
