Charter school hosts info night

The NEXT Charter School, located at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School, hosts an informational night for prospective students and families Feb. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The school is located at 5 Hood Road, inside Hood middle school. All are welcome to attend. Call 437-6398 for information.

Model Railroad fans have fun

The Seacoast Division of the National Model Railroad Association holds its Derry Model Railroading Fun Night on Feb. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 West Broadway.

Two topics will be on the schedule, including model structure building tips and techniques and modeling on a budget.

Music students host flea market

Pinkerton Academy music students will host a flea market Feb. 15 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school’s Shepard Auditorium, 5 Pinkerton St.

There will be dozens of vendors selling items with proceeds going to support the music department’s spring trip to New York City. Call 437-5200, Ext. 5106, for information.
