DERRY — Eight South Range Elementary students are riding in style.

Students who took the top honors in the school’s fall fundraiser won a trip in a limousine, taking the children to downtown Derry to enjoy a healthy lunch at Rig A’Tony’s.

Students making the trip were Mary Burns, Kalleigh Donahue, John Jellow, Riley Zywusko, Erin Menzel, Nina Andrews, Grace Jellow and Krystina Coakley.

The limo, provided by Linahan Limo based in Windham, picked up the eight students and took them to their luncheon destination.

Limo driver Phil Corder said he enjoys picking up children and taking them on special trips.

He has driven for Linahan for about two years, but has driven the stretch vehicles for decades.

South Range PTA member Dori Haverty said the winning students were from several grades and earned the trip by selling top numbers of items this fall.

“They are an eclectic mix,” she said.

South Range Principal Matt Olsen went along for the ride.
