The Community Colleges of New Hampshire Foundation has awarded an additional $19,500 in NASA Space Grant/PSNH Scholarships for the year. Within the past year, the foundation has awarded $39,000 in NASA/PSNH scholarships. The scholarship is open to students in the Community College System of New Hampshire who are pursuing a career of interest to NASA and PSNH in the fields of science, mathematics, engineering, teaching mathematics or teaching science. The award is $1,500 per student.

Dana Trottier of Chester was honored last month by Wagner College at its annual Senior Awards Banquet. Trottier won the Robert deCsipkes Memorial Prize, which recognizes outstanding research in psychology. Trottier, a psychology and English major with a minor in gender studies, is on the dean's list. He is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society, the Student Government Association, the Psi Chi psychology honor society, the Gender Forum, the Psychology Club, and the Honors program. He was part of last year's student production of "The Vagina Monologues."
