Public Soup and Sandwich Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the East Hampstead Union Church located at 225 E. Main Street, Route 121A, just south of Route 111. Spring concert rehearsals, The Interfaith Choir is looking for new members. Membership is free and open to everyone of at least high school age, without audition. Rehearsals are Sundays, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Derry on Route 102. Reading music or prior experience in a choir is not necessary. Sheet music, music CDs, and performance instruction is provided free of charge. Performances are four times a year: two concerts in December and two concerts in the spring. Rehearsals are 10 a.m. to noon on Sundays leading up to those concerts. Call 458-1455.
Island Pond Baptist Church youth group, invites youth, grades nine through 12, to participate in Higher Standard Youth Group. A Youth Group for students in grades 6-8 meets Sundays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study is led by the Rev. Wells at 7 p.m. Men's ministry holds a Bible study on Monday and Thursday evenings at 6:35 and a men's prayer breakfast on the second Saturday of every month at 7:30 a.m. Call 329-5959 or visit IslandPondBC.org.

The Women's Bible study, an interdenominational gathering of women, is held every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Plaistow Public Library, Main Street in Plaistow. Call 887-2985.
New Creation Healing Center, 148 Plaistow Road (Route 125) in Plaistow, is a collection drop-off spot for those in need. First, and in conjunction with the Lions Clubs International, New Creation accepts and passes on good quality, but no longer needed eyeglasses. In conjunction with the Plaistow Food Bank, New Creation accepts nonperishable food. Call 382-7391.
First Baptist Church of Salem, offers a variety of family and individual ministries during the week. Youth groups meet on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Family night is held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and begins with a free meal at 6 p.m. and classes for all ages, 7 to 8 p.m. The church is at 101 School St. in Salem. Call 893-9191.
Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church, in conjunction with New Creation Healing Center, holds services of Christian Healing on the first Sunday of every month at 2 p.m. Christian Healing services consist of worship with hymns, prayers and a teaching from the Bible applied to daily life. Trinity Church will offer two Bible studies each week. One is Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pearson home, 23 Faith Drive (off East Road) in Hampstead. Call evenings, 329-7341. The other is Sundays at 6 p.m. at the Isbister home, 23 Scott Lane in Sandown. Call nights 887-2985. Overcomers, a Christian program based on Alcoholics Anonymous, is held Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A women's Bible study is held at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays at the home of Ronnie Isbister, 23 Scott Lane in Sandown. Every third Thursday, the church co-sponsors half-hour prayer appointments between 1 and 3 p.m. To make an appointment, call the New Creation Healing Center office at 382-7391. St. Thomas Aquinas, offers the Children of Mary Prayer Group. Meetings are on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., in the church. Wednesday staff prayer meetings are held at noon. Charismatic Prayer Meetings are held on Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Knitting a Tighter Community meets on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Baby items such as diaper bags, size 2 and 3 diapers (small packages), bottles, baby wipes, onesies and sleepers are needed for the Baby Outreach Program. Bring any donations to the friary office. The church asks parishioners or those who want more information to send their e-mail addresses to staderry@stthomasderry.org. Include name, address and telephone number.
