Through Sept. 6

Currier Museum Free Admission for Active Military Families, this program is part of the National Endowment for the Arts' Blue Star Museum pilot program — a collaboration with Blue Star Families' Operation Appreciation. Sept. 10

Twilight Tour, 5 to 8 p.m., participating houses are: John Paul Jones House, John Langdon House, Moffatt-Ladd House, Warner House, Rundlett-May House, the Wentworth-Gardner House, the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion and the Goodwin Mansion at Strawbery Banke. Sept. 11

Art On The Common Fine Art Show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Londonderry Town Common, at the corner of Mammoth and Pillsbury Roads. This event will hosts artists from New Hampshire and Massachusetts. All art featured will be two-dimensional in oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, and colored pencil/multimedia. Joan Tierney and Cameron Bennett will judge the entries, awarding first-, second- and third-place ribbons in all categories. First place will include a monetary prize. In the event of inclement weather, the show will be held Sunday, Sept. 12.

Sept. 17

Motor Booty Affair Ultimate Disco Extravaganza, 8 p.m., at The Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield St., Rochester. Beer and wine are available at both dance parties. Anyone 17 or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $16. Visit rochesteroperahouse.com or call 335-1992.

Currier Museum public guided tours, tours are offered daily, and highlight either the museum's permanent collection or the current special exhibition. Public tours are free with museum admission. Tour times are: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m., Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., Sundays at 1 p.m., and the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

Concord Community Music School, offers choruses for all ages, including Songweavers, a children's chorus called the Purple Finches, and Sunflower Singers for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. The Profile Chorus, an award-winning women's a cappella show chorus based in Manchester, seeks new members with a passion for song. All are invited to rehearse, learn four-part harmony, develop vocal skills and have fun at the same time. The group rehearses Mondays at 7 p.m. at 83 Hanover St. in Manchester. Singers For the Interfaith Choir, meets weekly at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 63 East Broadway in Derry. Anyone in high school or older can join this group that has been singing in the area for more than 40 years. Auditions are not required. Call 458-1455.
