Llama Llama visits Leach Library

LONDONDERRY — Leach Library kicked off this summer's programs last week with everyone's favorite pajama-wearing llama.

Participants were invited to come in their pajamas and bring their favorite sleeping friend to hear some favorite bedtime stories.

They enjoyed stories and sang a special song for Llama Llama.

Coming up is "Ahoy Mateys." Sail the seven seas with pirates of all sorts on Monday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to noon. Hunt for buried treasure, sing a pirate song and maybe learn a pirate dance. Registration is required.

Then on Wednesday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to noon or 1 to 2 p.m., it's "Mostly Mammals."

Visit with Michelle DeBye from Michelle's Menagerie. Michelle will be bringing animal friends who are most active at night.

Animals include a hedgehog, ferret, skunk and more (live animals). Registration is required.
