LONDONDERRY — Rock legend John Waite will perform at Tupelo Music Hall Friday, Feb. 17, as he continues to tour in support of his latest single, "If You Ever Get Lonely."
An urgent mid-tempo pop rock song that is classic Waite, "If You Ever Get Lonely" is the latest release from the album "Rough & Tumble," released on Model Music Group/Fontana in 2011. It also features the album's first single, the title track, that reached the top of the Classic Rock charts.
"Rough & Tumble" features an eclectic mix of rock, pop and blues, including several collaborations with Matchbox 20's Kyle Cook. The Los Angeles-based British singer and songwriter worked on "If You Ever Get Lonely" as part of a Nashville writing session in early 2010 with Cook.
Waite's live performances will include songs from "Rough & Tumble," along with classic hits from his solo career and the two bands he fronted, The Babys and Bad English.
The Grammy-nominated artist continues to draw praise from the media about his live shows.
