LONDONDERRY — Old Home Day organizers can chalk up another year of community spirit and success.
The town’s 114th annual Old Home Day celebration brought out thousands of people to enjoy five days filled with a parade, games, fireworks, music, food and special activities.
Old Home Day traditionally begins with Senior Night activities, followed by the annual police and firefighter softball game.
Add in the popular baby contest, a Town Common filled with booths, the 34th annual Lundgren 5K road race, food vendors, games and demonstrations, and it was another successful year.
Special parade guests included Gov. Maggie Hassan, who walked the Mammoth Road route, greeting the crowds.
After the parade ended, the Town Common was filled to the brim with community booths, food, activities and music.
The weather was perfect as well, keeping sunny days and clear nights on tap for all the Old Home Day festivities.
