Blood drive set in Londonderry Sept. 14
LONDONDERRY — The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Londonderry Lions Hall, 259 Mammoth Road.
People may donate blood between 1 and 6 p.m. All donors will receive an American Red Cross reusable tote bag.

Three Walks to Cure Diabetes set
More than 800 walkers representing local companies, families, schools and other organizations are expected to turn out for this year's Manchester Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday, Oct. 3. On-site registration starts at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. at Derryfield Park in Manchester.
In September, there are two other walks that you can choose to participate in: Saturday, Sept. 25, at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord and Sunday, Sept. 26, at Swasey Park in Exeter.
Form a family, corporate or school walk team. Corporations can also sponsor the walk and individual walkers are always welcome.

Get ready to get healthier on Sept. 15
DERRY — Derry Parks and Recreation is holding a wellness event Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Alexander-Carr Park, 28 Pierce Ave. in Derry.
Check out short previews of adult wellness programs being offered this fall by the Recreation Department. Previews will include yoga, Zumba, tai chi, bone builders and line dancing.
The event runs from 6 to 7 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
Free refreshments and information will be available.
