Synagogue offers ‘Jewish Women Today’ talk

DERRY — “Jewish Women Today” will be held Thursday, June 19, at 7 p.m. at Etz Hayim Synagogue, 1 1/2 Hood Road.

The free talk will be presented by Dr. Sarah Finne-Sandler, synagogue president, who will offer information on today’s role of Jewish women.

No registration is required. The program is part of the ongoing series “Key Issues in Contemporary Judaism.

Free summer meals continue

DERRY — Etz Hayim Synagogue, 1 1/2 Hood Road, offers a free community dinner Sunday, June 22, at 5 p.m.

There will also be live musical entertainment and plenty of fellowship. All are welcome to attend.

The meal is part of the Elijah’s Table ministry, a joint project between Etz Hayim and the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration.

Eck discussion set

DERRY — An Eck spiritual discussion will be held Wednesday, June 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Upper Village Hall, 52 East Derry Road.

All attending will receive a free booklet, “Spiritual Experiences Guidebook.”

Dinner, auction set for Saturday

LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Christian Church, 372 Mammoth Road, is hosting its annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction on Saturday, June 21, at 6 p.m.

The proceeds from the Dinner and Auction go to fund the middle school and high school students trip to workcampNE. That is a nonprofit organization that hosts summer camps where students do home repairs for residents who are unable to do the repairs themselves.

This year, workcampNE will be serving the Litchfield community and surrounding communities. Students will come from all over the country to repair the homes of residents at no cost to the resident.
