DERRY — Twenty-seven young women from around the state are gearing up for the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Competition, set for April 26 and 27 at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy.
This past weekend, contestants gave a sneak peak of their personalities and platforms. They offered a look into their lives and why they want to become Miss New Hampshire as they rehearsed for the big show and met with the public and media representatives.
The 2012 winner will be crowned by current Miss New Hampshire Regan Hartley and will earn a $15,000 scholarship and the chance to compete for the Miss America crown.
