FOOLS!, dinner/dessert theatre presentation of the season. A Comedy by Neil Simon: Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic; he's landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When he arrives he finds people sweeping dust from the stoops back into their houses and people milking upside down to get more cream. The town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and Leon's job is to break the curse. No one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes Stupid. But, he has fallen in love with a girl so stupid that she has only recently learned how to sit down. All inclusive dinner theatre on March 5-6 at 7:30 p.m. and on March 7, at 1:30 p.m. Cost $32 Friday/Saturday and $28 Sunday. Dessert Theatre seating begins at 8:30 p.m. on Friday/Saturday, 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and includes balcony cabaret seating, open concessions and dessert for $20. Open Enrollment Majestic Theatre's 2010 Summer Theatre Camps, Half-day camps are open for youth ages 4 to 7 years and the full-day camps are open for youth ages 8 to 17 years. The Majestic prides itself on a strong core of camp directors and instructors all having many years of experience in all aspects of theatre as well as experience working with children and teens.¬ Youth can join The Majestic for: Story Theatre, July 5 to 16 full & half day program;Fables & Fairy Tales, July 19 to 30 full & half day program; The Cinderella Tales, Aug. 2 to 13 full day program. Tuition is $275 for each full-day, 2-week session and $150 for each half-day, two-week session. Tuition includes all camp materials, camp t-shirt and an afternoon snack. Scholarships are available. Currier Museum
Currier Museum public guided tours, tours are offered daily, and highlight either the museum's permanent collection or the current special exhibition. Public tours are free with museum admission. Tour times are: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m., Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., Sundays at 1 p.m., and the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
Concord Community Music School, offers choruses for all ages, including Songweavers, a children's chorus called the Purple Finches, and Sunflower Singers for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. The Profile Chorus, an award-winning women's a cappella show chorus based in Manchester, seeks new members with a passion for song.
