Mack's Apples orchards draw a crowd for picking

The apples are ripe at Mack's

LONDONDERRY — This farm always draws a crowd.

A typical sunny afternoon at Mack’s Apples always brings out those hoping to find a perfect apple hanging high on a tree or a pumpkin attached to the vine.

Last Sunday was no exception; families came out in force to enjoy a sunny afternoon of apple picking fun. People came from all over — Manchester, Goffstown, Brentwood and beyond— in addition to the local fans who are regular visitors.

Mack’s U-Pick apple areas are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Various types of apples are available for picking as they are ready or people can stop by the Mack’s farm stand on Mammoth Road to buy apples, peaches, pumpkins and other items.

Call for apple-picking information at 432-3456.
