First Baptist Church of Salem: The Sunday morning worship celebration begins at 10 a.m. Childcare and children’s programming are available during the services. Youth groups meet Wednesday and Sunday evenings; family night, Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. Family Night begins with a free meal at 6 p.m., and classes for all ages from 7 to 8 p.m. The church is at 101 School St. in Salem. First Baptist Church: Sunday morning worship service is at 10 a.m. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. Children attend church with their parents and then proceed to their Sunday School classes after the children’s story. First Congregational Church of Salem: Sunday worship 10 a.m. Church school and nursery care available. Refreshments are served after the service. Services are led by the Rev. Carolyn Keilig. Church school classes are offered for children. If interested in registering one’s child for this program, email the Christian Education Director at CE@FCC-Salem.org. Several services are being offered during Holy week. Maundy Thursday service will be held on March 28, at 7 p.m. The Easter sunrise service will be held on March 31, at 6:30 a.m. at the Salem Center Park Gazebo. Casual dress is encouraged, and a breakfast will be served in Fellowship Hall at the church immediately following the service. An additional Easter celebration will be held at 10 am in the sanctuary of the church including special music featuring the youth and senior choirs. Wheelchair accessible.
