Synagogue invites all to Purim event

DERRY — Etz Hayim Synagogue will celebrate the holiday of Purim on Saturday, March 15, at 8 p.m.

Purim commemorates a time when the Jews living in ancient Persia were saved from extermination, as recounted in the Biblical Book of Esther. At this carnival-like celebration, adults will dress in costumes, eat, drink, and make merry.

Etz Hayim invites everyone to visit and experience our warm welcome at 1 ½ Hood Road. For more information, visit or contact Rabbi Bryna Milkow at 432-0004.
