DERRY — A classic play telling tales of small-town New England takes the stage at Pinkerton Academy this month.
Pinkerton Players present Thornton Wilder’s famed “Our Town” on stage at the Stockbridge Theatre with performances set for Nov 8, 9 and 10 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.
The show is one of the most frequently performed plays, according to director Ann West, but the Pinkerton production will offer unique twist and turns on the classic.
The show is narrated by the stage manager and deals with life in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, N.H., in 1901.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors and are available by calling the theater box office at 437-5210.
