Seventh Annual Potter's Bowl, 5 to 8 p.m. at Promises to Keep, Route 28, Derry. Hosted by Community Caregivers of Greater Derry. The Derry Parks & Recreation Department is selling anniversary 2012 calendars, to mark Derry Dog Park's 10th anniversary. Photos in the calendar are actual pictures from the park over the years, including many events like Doggie Days and Halloween. Calendars are $10 each and all proceeds will benefit the Derry Dog Park. Leadership Londonderry, is an educational program for Londonderry residents interested in learning more about how town and school governments work. The curriculum includes presentations by each town department head and representatives of each board or commission. The class meets once a month from September through May. Although no class is currently scheduled to begin in the fall of 2011, anyone interested in the program should contact Town Hall at 432-1100, ext. 120.

The Londonderry Women's Club, meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Spring social events include Yoga Class, Zumba Class, Movie Night, Dinner Out and Game Night. Londonderry Leach Library partners with nhsaves, to offer a new service that will help educate consumers on electricity use. Beginning immediately, we will be circulating a CUT the CARBON! kit, which includes a Kill a Watt Meter, energy tips brochure, bookmark, instruction sheet and a survey postcard. Check out the kit for a two-week period and plug in your appliances one at a time to see how much energy they use and help reduce your carbon footprint.

The Vic Geary Foxwoods Casino Trip, a large coach bus will leave at 7 a.m. from the Vic Geary Center every second Monday of the month. The Cooperative Alliance for Regional Transportation, known as CART, is a curb-to-curb transportation system serving the communities of Chester, Danville, Derry, Londonderry, Plaistow, Salem, Windham and Hampstead for those needing a ride for medical visits, shopping or social visits. CART services are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $2 per one-way ride. Reservations can be made during regular business hours by calling 434-3569. Reservations must be made several days in advance, but no more than 14 days in advance.
