Tupelo Music Hall welcomes Brendan James

LONDONDERRY — A Derry native enjoying musical success on a big scale is returning home for a concert at the Tupelo Music Hall.

Brendan James will perform at the Tupelo on March 28 at 8 p.m.

James is a singer/songwriter and 1998 Pinkerton Academy graduate. He has returned to New Hampshire many times to perform at the Tupelo through the years.

James has toured and recorded extensively and said in a press release he credits talents like Carly Simon, James Taylor and Carole King as his major influences on his music and career.

Much of his music is based around his talents as a pianist.

He has played alongside the likes of musicians including Simon, Joss Stone, Robert Cray and Keb Mo.

James is also a force in the licensing world, as his songs have been repeatedly featured on television shows, including “Private Practice,” “American Idol,” “Bones,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Army Wives” and “One Tree Hill.”
