SALEM — Estate Transition Advisors recently opened for business at 151 Main St. in Salem. The company provides estate settlement services and expert assistance in managing a myriad of details to make the settlement process easier and less complicated for family estate executors. While estate settlement services are commonplace in other parts of the country, it is a fairly unique concept in this region.
According to company founder and general manager George Payne, "settling an estate can be an overwhelming and complex process for family estate executors. For attorneys handling estates, providing assistance and guidance to estate clients can be very involved and time consuming. That's where Estate Transition Advisors can step in and assist in managing all of the details. We can work directly with the family or with the law firm handling the estate, depending on the needs of the individuals."
