Derry

Calvary Bible Church

Derry Salvation Army Corps

Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration

The Rev. Sue LeSueur leads Sunday services at 8 and 10 a.m., with coffee and conversation between and after. Sunday school and nursery care are available at the 10 a.m. service. First Baptist Church

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages through adult. Worship service is at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Smith's message this week is "In for a Penny, in for a Pound" from Acts 1:1-11. Junior choir practice is held Sunday at 12:15 p.m. Choir rehearsal is held every Thursday at 7 p.m. Richard Cardner is offering a 6 week program in Active Christian Parenting. First Parish Church

Worship is held each Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m. The Sunday evening adult education series is also continuing, between 6:30 and 8 p.m., based on the book "The Jesus Way" by Eugene Peterson. At the 10 a.m. service, children come to the beginning of worship, then go to church school classes. There are classes for children age 2 through senior high school, and a nursery for newborns and infants. First Church of Christ, Scientist

Sunday worship and Sunday school are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday evening testimony meetings held at 7:30. The subject of the Bible lesson for Sunday, April 27, is "Probation After Death." Reading Room hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Reading Room is also open before and after each service. North Ridge Church

New Creation Healing Center

Chapel service for patients, clients and the general public every third Thursday of the month at 12:15 p.m. An area pastor or lay leader of a notable Christian ministry or a New Creation staff member provides the homily. The center is located at 148 Plaistow Road (Route 125), Plaistow, opposite State Line Pet Supply. It is an interdenominational Christian ministry combining family practice medicine, massage therapy, counseling and chaplaincy. The public is welcome to attend these chapel services. Future services will be on April 17, May 15 and June 19.

Pleasant Street United Methodist Church
