Derry woman joins local television staff

DERRY — Derry Community Television welcomes a new addition to its local programming team.

Susanne Bernier-Robinson will join the staff as a part-time video producer.

Bernier-Robinson is a familiar face in town, with many community connections and volunteer roles to her credit, including serving as a past president of the Derry Village Rotary Club and working with the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.

As a video producer, she will support the station’s efforts to build and maintain a consistent brand while developing new shows and helping with outreach projects.

She fills the role previously held by Kimberley Haas, who relocated to pursue another job opportunity.

Cable Systems Coordinator Chris Martin said Bernier-Robinson would be a great asset to the local cable team.

“We were sad to see Kimberly go, but look forward to the new perspective Susanne will bring to the station,” he said. “She brings a wealth of community involvement and expertise to our team and will be a great fit with Derry Community Television.”

Debbie Roy, an assistant cable coordinator, said Bernier-Robinson has a proven track record in Derry and will help improve the overall production value and programming contest for the local station.
