“We’re showing local businesses that there are young people who are driven and want to help enhance their business. We also want to show people that there are businesses out there who want to hire young employees,” said Nicholas del’Etoile, chairman of DLYPN.
DLYPN has established strong local business support as well.
“We (at the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce) are extremely excited to have such an energetic group of young business professionals networking and doing business in their own communities,” said Stacey Bruzzese, executive director of Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce. “Too often, we lose our young talent to neighboring cities and states, but talent retention is an important factor in the economic development of our region. The support we provide to young professionals will not only benefit them in their career growth, but our entire community as we benefit from a greater talent pool at the local level.”
Join Derry Londonderry Young Professionals for their next event on Monday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 603 Brewery in Londonderry. Details can be found on the DLYPN event page, eventbrite.com/o/dlypn-5627844061.
