In addition, they trained to perform triage or prioritize those needing assistance in a mass casualty event.

Chamber will host Technology Expo

DERRY — The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce announced the launch of an annual event, scheduled for the first time this fall.

The GDLC Technology Expo Sept. 26 will bring together vendors, educators and users in an effort to provide much needed resources and information regarding current technologies, their applications within business, and the best process for staying current in your organization.

“One of the biggest challenges locally for small business owners is maintaining current technologies in the workplace that keep our businesses running smoothly,” said Stacey Bruzzese, the Chamber’s executive director. “For most small business owners, there just isn’t enough time in the day to run their company and research new technologies and processes to automate. We hope this event helps fill the void.”

Vendors will have an opportunity to display during the expo t Brookstone Park Event Center as well as provide breakout sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics. Guest speaker Curt Fennell from Google will share new products for business and the general public. Melissa Albano from Grapevine Marketing will provide insight into Email Marketing best practices and Constant Contact products for business. Many addition sessions are forming now, and booth space is available.

Sponsorships are available and include booth space at the event; prime visibility throughout and guest passes for attendance. Businesses interested in being an exhibitor can get more information by visiting the Chamber website, The community is welcome to attend. Admission is $10.
