Advance Auto Parts opens new store

LONDONDERRY — Advance Auto Parts has opened its first store in Londonderry.

The automotive retailer offers a wide variety of parts, accessories, and maintenance items for all makes and models of cars.

The new store is located on Route 102 at 10 Nashua Road in Derry Plaza and officially opened its doors July 16.

Store general manager is Jim Calderone, who works with a team of seven at the new store.

He is a 35-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industry and has been part of the Advance Auto team for 11 years. In addition, Calderone is ASE-certified through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

The new store not only offers a long list of items for sale, but also free services like windshield wiper installation and a free check of a vehicle’s electrical system during a new battery installation.

The store offers delivery of parts to local commercial customers like garages and professional mechanic businesses. Customers can also drop off used motor oil and batteries for recycling.

District leader for Advance Auto John Hanlon said the new store offers something for everyone in the Greater Derry/Londonderry area.

“The right parts at the right price are as important as the right advice to finish the job,” he said.

The store is open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Other area stores are located in Manchester and Raymond.
