DERRY — As a business leader and involved citizen in the Derry area, Allstate exclusive agency owner, Joseph Suozzo of Joseph A. Suozzo Agency has been designated an Allstate Premier Agency for 2013.
The Allstate Premier Agency designation is bestowed upon less than 38 percent of Allstate’s nearly 10,000 agency owners across the country and 63 percent of Allstate’s New Hampshire agencies.
This designation is being presented to Allstate agency owner Joseph Suozzo for his outstanding performance and commitment to putting customers at the center of his agency’s work.
The Premier Agency designation is awarded to Allstate agency owners who have demonstrated excellence in delivering an accessible, knowledgeable and personal customer experience, and in achieving outstanding business results. This is the second year that Suozzo has received this honor.

Olbricht CPA earns new designation
HAMPSTEAD — Olbricht Storniolo Group LLC, CPAs and Business Advisors announce that Frank Storniolo, CPA, has earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst. This certification is issued by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
To become accredited by NACVA, a candidate is required to complete an intensive training and testing process and pass a valuation case study judged by other Certified Valuation Analysts.
The Certified Valuation Analyst is the premier accreditation for CPAs, uniquely qualifying them to provide business valuations as well as financial and litigation consulting services.
‘Launching a Food Business’ seminar set

Unemployment rate drops slightly in June
New Hampshire’s preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June 2013 was 5.2 percent, a decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the May rate, which remained at 5.3 percent after revision. The June 2012 seasonally adjusted rate was 5.6 percent.
Seasonally adjusted estimates for June 2013 placed the number of employed residents at 705,220, an increase of 250 from the previous month and an increase of 4,840 from June 2012.
The number of unemployed residents decreased by 1,400 over-the-month to 38,290. This was 3,040 fewer unemployed than in June 2012. From May to June 2013, the total labor force decreased by 1,150 to 743,510. This was an increase of 1,800 from June 2012.
The unadjusted June 2013 unemployment rate for New Hampshire was 5.1 percent, unchanged from the May rate, which remained at 5.1 percent after revision. The June 2012 unadjusted rate was 5.7 percent.
Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June 2013 was 7.6 percent, unchanged from the May rate, and a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the June 2012 rate.
