McGrath serves as chairman of the firm’s Litigation Department and also serves on the firm’s Management Committee. Since joining the firm in 1992, he has built a successful general commercial litigation and employment practice.
McGrath represents firm clients in state and federal courts, arbitration and administrative proceedings. He routinely handles trade secret, noncompetition, predatory hiring, fiduciary duty, discrimination and wage and hour cases. He also writes and lectures extensively on a variety of employment related topics.
McGrath is a certified mediator who serves in that role frequently for the state and federal courts, as well as the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights.
Founded in 1992, LNH is an intensive, nine-month educational program that engages New Hampshire citizens in discussions about the challenges and leadership opportunities across the state in order to enhance a network of effective and knowledgeable leaders. Participants meet monthly. More than 600 individuals have now completed the program.
